How can I write better?

This is the question we’ve all had at some point. It’s gone through my own mind multiple times. If you don’t pay any attention to any other advice I give, pay attention to this because if you do, it WILL help you.

READ THE CLASSICS. Most of us have read them in school. Some are assigned in high school, some in college and some in both. When I mention classics, I’m meaning titles such as, “The Great Gatsby” by F. Scott Fitzgerald, “The Catcher in the Rye” by J.D. Salinger, etc.

Personally, I am more of a short story writer. Reading works by O.Henry has helped me more than anything else.
